Mission Statement Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue is a 501(c)3, nonprofit Rescue Organization. We are dedicated to the health and well being of the Dalmatian Breed. Our main objective is to take in, assist, rehabilitate and re-home rescues that come to us from many resources, i.e. local animal shelters, owner surrenders, other rescues and strays. We want to see that every Dalmatian that comes our way gets a second chance to live a life they are so deserving of and given an abundance of love. Rescue involves more than just nursing a dog back to health. It includes placing them in a home that will love and care for them. Alot of these dogs not only come to us sick, injured, traumatized and unwanted, but more often then not, under socialized with behavior problems. Most behavior problems are not because of the dog, but because of their owner's lack of ability to understand and communicate with their dog. All of these issues have to be dealt with to make an adoption successful and that is what we want -- SUCCESSFUL ADOPTIONS. Loving Spots Dalmatian Rescue does have a permanent facility, which can only house a limited number of dogs; consequently, some dogs must be fostered. In which case foster homes are inspected and guidelines established. Both - our facility and our foster homes provide dogs with a safe environment, high quality food, clean water, exercise, medical attention, rehabilitation if needed and the ability to socialize with people, dogs and other animals.
