As we said on our front page Fabulous Felines Rescue is a small group in North/Northwest Houston who have joined together to help the many neglected, abused and unwanted cats in our community. Our website is new and we hope to help find homes for many needy, loving and wonderful animals. We are an ALL FOSTER - NO KILL organization so as you can imagine we can always use volunteers, if you can foster an animal while they are waiting for a permanent home - we need YOU! All of our animals are completely vet checked before being adopted this includes vaccinations, de-worming, Feline Leukemia tested and spaying or neutering if old enough (if not a free spay or neuter coupon will be given at the time of adoption). Any other medical problems are addressed at this time also. For each kitten/cat taken in from the public, a minimum donation of $50.00 will be required, each donation will be determined on a case by case basis. We are primarily a cat rescue group, occasionally one of our volunteers finds a stray or abandoned puppy/dog that we take into our program. If you know of anyone looking for a puppy or dog, please refer them to us, we may have the perfect match for them or can refer them to another group that does, unfortunately, due to lack of resources, we cannot take in dogs from the public at this time. We also want to help educate that Spaying and Neutering is very important, not only for the health of your pet, but to stop the unnecassary death of MILLIONS of innocent animals every single year - most of these animals being healthy and even babies! The ONLY reason so many of these animals are put to death is because there are no homes for them. This is a very sad state of affairs and we MUST do something now ... so PLEASE SPAY/NEUTER your pets, you'll be saving countless lives!
