Our Goals

·   Providing a safe and efficient transportation chain for animals throughout the U.S. and Canada

·   Facilitating inter-state adoptions

·   Weakening of present state regulations that tend to hamper out-of-state adoptions

·   Opening up presently untapped "forever" and foster homes in outlying geographic areas

·   Putting mobile adoption programs in place

·   Increasing the number of NO KILL organizations

·   Eliminating euthanization except in the case of extreme sickness

·   Eliminating gas chambers as a means of euthanization during which every dog and cat suffers needlessly in the last 15 minutes of life

·   Setting minimum standards for the care of feral colonies with abuse punishable by law

·   Working to incorporate these standards into the legal system so that failure to comply results in consistent and serious consequences

·   Educating the general public in the proper and responsible care of animals as pets

·   Devising education programs from kindergarten upwards to teach the value of animals in our society and how to live happily alongside them

·   Encouraging people to invite "special needs" animals into their homes as pets. These animals are true gifts in our lives!

·   Encouraging medical insurance programs to pay for treatment of addictive behavior such as “hoarding” and “animal collecting”
