Welcomes You We are dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing Dachshunds in need of a second chance at life and love. We rescue from pounds, shelters and owner turn-ins. Some have had a wonderful life but others have been abused, abandoned and/or neglected. We believe there is a home somewhere for every dog rescued, some just take a little longer to find. Most dogs spend at least a little time in foster care to evaluate their temperaments, likes and dislikes of a home setting. This is a vital component to a good, permanent home placement. Foster homes provide good nutrition and an understanding lap to prepare our Dachshunds for life in a world where fear, abuse and starvation are non-existent for the rescued dog. The adoption fee is to help cover the costs of rescue and vetting of each dog. At the present time we only adopt to residence living within the state of Texas, we are sorry for any inconvience this may cause. We also hope to educate and raise public awareness about the proper care and treatment of the animals that share our lives. Remember Pets are for LIFE --  |
