 | Pepper - is about 8 years old. She is great with kids and younger dogs, but she does like to be the "leader of her pack". It is recommended she does not live with another dominate female. She knows all the basic obedience commands and listens very well to them. Her foster mom says she's easy to get along with and a joy to be around. She loves to go for car rides and long walks. Pepper is good with treats and even lets her younger, foster sister take them when she is tired. She currently lives with a 1 year old rottie female, multiple cats, and a baby. She is gentle mouthed and will let you take anything from her. If you are looking for a well behaved companion dog, she may be the one for you, don't let her age fool you her spirit is as young as her foster sister! Please contact us to meet Pepper today! - ADOPTED - |

 | UPDATE*** Dargo is now being fostered in a home with children 6 and 10 years old. He loves to chase the squirrels and loves running in the fenced in yard. Recently they had five children there and he loved every minute of it! Dargo is good with other dogs and cats but we do not recommend him with kittens. Too much fun and too small! He is housebroken and crate trained loves walks around the neighborhood and is loving life. Wouldn't he fit in perfectly in your home!
UPDATE* Today 11/9/02 we pulled Dargo from the shelter ... he was great! Big luge! He loved my female german shepherd and was much more comfortable today with everyone. He seems to always want your attention! Currently he is located at a local kennel where they will love him to death. He seems housebroken as he held everything until he was allowed out in the yard. He is up to date on shots and will be neutered soon! He's a love.
Dargo - is located at PACCA. He is about 2 yrs old and a pretty big boy. His owners turned him in b/c they were moving. Dargo is SOOOO scared at the shelter they marked him dangerous but he is not ... once out of his cage he was licking our faces and wagging his numb at our female. HE NEEDS HELP NOW ... please contact us immediately to arrange to meet him. What a sweet mellow boy.

 | UPDATE** 2/11/2003 Nina now Jasmine was adopted by Mandy and Chris Kutish of Harrisburg. They made the long trip to Philly and followed LHRRR volunteers to PACCA to meet her. They adopted her right from the shelter and she is doing very well! She currently lives with two cats and has learned things like "Sit", "Wait", "Paw" and "Down." Mostly, she enjoys socializing with the other dogs. Thank you to the Kutish family for making the effort and for saving this precious little girls life! Keep up the great
work... and keep us posted :-) - ADOPTED - |
